Visa Europe offers a credit card that comes with its own 48×8 pixel LCD panel on the back. That would be located just above the signature of the cardholder. The solution, called CodeSure Matrix Display Card, has been invented to increase security of credit cards, which can be used e.g. in online shopping.

Blizzard Entertainment, producer of epic game series such as Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft and owner of biggest online gaming service Battle.net is partner with PayPal. PayPal will be added as a payment method on Battle.net platform and will be payment service partner for the auction house in upcoming Diablo III. I think that was a natural course of things because, according to PayPal, over 70% of gamers are their clients.
This “news” is not that new, but it is worth mentioning, since Blizzard recently announced new Battle.net feature called Balance.

Since 25th October for the first time in Hungary and the first time in Europe, mobile phones are enabled to be used as MasterCard payment cards. A month ago Google launched in the United States (only!) a virtual mobile wallet called “Google Mobile” and now MasterCard Mobile is to be launched in Hungary (EU), just for a good start.
MasterCard chose Cellum, Hungary’s fast-growing developer of mobile payment solutions, to integrate bank cards into handsets.
Mobile phones will no longer be limited to offering voice, image and text transmission services only; from now on they will be able to transfer money as well.
