Unless you write book reviews for a living, it may be not easy to imagine how to use your e-reader in everyday work. An iPad (or any other tablet) would do better, right? But assuming that you write or read anything at work, Kindle is the perfect solution to make it easier and healthier for your eyes. And it’s distraction-free.
Here are some of my ideas how to make amazon’s e-reader really useful.

I suppose we all have private profiles on Facebook and probably on Twitter as well. Some of us have LinkedIn accounts for building and maintaining professional networks, but we use Foursquare for fun. And we still remember the golden age of MySpace and Friendster.
Social networking became a part of our everyday online life just a few years ago. But do you remember the trends changes? When the Facebook began to rule the world and when the Friendster shifted to the low position in social rankings?
The race for Internet domination’s graph (created by OnlineSchools.org) shows the career path of social networking: http://www.onlineschools.org/state-of-the-internet/soti.html

How many times have you had to type a credit card number when you wanted to pay for something? It’s painful, isn’t it? 16 digits one by one, then check for mistakes… next payment: once again, 16 digits one by one, etc.
Card.io is a solution for everyone who’s tired of putting the whole credit card number again and again.

Last week I wrote about Sandglaz – a great tool to manage your tasks. And because it fitted my needs so good, I thought why not talk to its authors? I guess it’s always nice to hear that someone there in the world likes what you did. Besides that, I was also curious how and why they created it, what was their goal.
And that’s exactly what I did. I contacted Zaid, who turned out to be a really nice guy, started talking to him and to my surprise – I suddenly had a small interview! And that’s what I’m posting today. If you read about Sandglaz last week and liked it, perhaps you’d be interested what its author says about it.

Here you are: stretching your legs, coming out of the office, making for the world to see you. But hey! You’re not a superhero! Keep your eyes wide open, listen to what people say and what they gossip about. You never know who’s gonna sit right next to you in the lounge or who’ll want to buy you a beer.
Fairs are organized for salesmen, but if you’re just a visitor, you can never tell how things will go. But there are some things worth keeping in mind.

Now we’ve all seen MasterCard commercials – they all usually fit a well known scheme. But this scheme is actually so good that it became an advert itself. People repeat it, make jokes using it, make their own videos and so on.
And recently, despite having “some issues” with MasterCard (and Visa, PayPal etc.), WikiLeaks published their own video. Of course this isn’t a MasterCard commercial (actually quite the opposite), but still shows the power of their idea.

When talking about online payments, almost everybody mention PayPal sooner or later. It just happens to be a common association. And no wonder, PayPal recently scored 100 million active accounts. With such numbers it’s surely not to be ignored and that’s why we now offer all PayPal services at PayLane.
But being a merchant you’ll probably ask how’s using PayPal with PayLane better than using it directly? It’s actually a very important question. So here are the benefits.

Are you still checking out new tools in order to find the perfect one, which will organize your work and improve productivity? If so, then I might have just the thing for you. It’s simple, looks nice, you can use it both on your computer and mobile device, it doesn’t consume your time and is very flexible. Sounds almost like too good to be true, doesn’t it?
I’ve been trying to find a decent app for a pretty long time and none would completely fit my needs. Project management tools were just too big and simple todo lists were… to simple. And it was usually faster to write down a todo list on a piece of paper than to use any of those apps. But when I learned about priority matrix, I felt that it could be pretty close to what I was looking for. And that’s how I found Sandglaz.
