Corporate brochures don’t have to be boring. There are instances when taking a different approach to design actually pays off. Sometimes it’s good to break the mould. Designing a corporate brochure is not an easy task. First, the brochure needs to convey the company’s spirit. It was such a busy weekend. The mission was to build a startup in 54 hours. Holding the rule: „No talk. All action”, Startup Weekend Trojmiasto took place at Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia 9-11 Nov 2012. We were there, as a coach, a participant and a guest. From our different points of view it was a very inspiring time. Great place to work on a new project, exchange experience and network, and of course to build a startup.

If you want to accept card payments with a mobile device, you’ll probably end up with Square or one of similar solutions (mPowa, iZettle etc.) – that’s what the search results will give you. But ask yourself, do you really need and want to set up a new account and attach a piece of hardware every time someone pays you?
Is this really the only solution?
Well, it depends.
There are alternatives, but whether you should use them or not – this mostly depends on your business type, its model and needs. It’s quite different if you want to accept payments in a single restaurant, a chain of restaurants, if you deliver goods to your customers or sell both online and offline.
