Visa Europe offers a credit card that comes with its own 48×8 pixel LCD panel on the back. That would be located just above the signature of the cardholder. The solution, called CodeSure Matrix Display Card, has been invented to increase security of credit cards, which can be used e.g. in online shopping.
Credit cards can be pretty, there’s no arguing about that. They can also become the base for a work of art, as was demonstrated by the Graphic Design Museum in Breda (the Netherlands), in 2009. The museum ordered a collage created out of different types of credit cards, gift cards and discount cards from all over the world.
The first American Express credit card was issued in the 50’ of the XXth century. Today very few of us can imagine shopping without a credit card. We choose it, because it’s safer, because you don’t need to search for an ATM, because it’s simply more convenient.
American Express cards, among Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and JCB, remain one of the most popular in the world. But how to choose the best card from all those offers without getting a headache and feeling dizzy?

Ohh… that’s just terribly wrong. Size does matter, because it must be easy on the eye and we must feel confident and comfortable when operating with it.
CVV2, CVC2, or just the card security code (CSC), are different names for the security features for credit and debit card transactions. CVV2 provides increased protection against credit card fraud.
How it works?
Imagine that you’re buying something over the Internet, fax, mail or phone. Since you’re not present in person, such transactions are called “card not present transactions”. Normally, you give your card to a merchant. You take it out of your wallet, you can present your signature or prove that you know the PIN. Somehow you prove this card belongs to you. Everything goes well…
The Address Verification System (or simply AVS) is a method for merchants to verify the identity of a customer who uses a credit card.
AVS is an excellent way to reduce the risk of fraud and increase the payment gateway’s security. In other words, it checks that a customer is the cardholder he claims to be and finally – it decreases the number of chargebacks.
